* Provide new services and income to compensate for declining registration income. During my tenure on the board, I have worked diligently in this area. I am currently spearheading a multi-tiered registration program that will allow a breeder to purchase multiple CFA services at a reduced cost during the process of registration. * We must be vigilant to responsibly cut costs. Tapping the professional skills of members of CFA through the creation of a new volunteer program could be a major stepping stone. * Good communication improves efficiency and eliminates redundancy that is expensive in terms of time and money. This could be achieved through using a "state of the art web page that can be constantly reconfigured to meet our communication needs." Such a site would breathe new life into all CFA projects and activities. It could be a tool to dispel the negative impact of rumors and damaging false statements that might tarnish CFA's image. * New methods of fundraising. Many of our members are experts in this field and we need to explore these immense opportunities. * The board should vigorously support the mentoring and ambassador programs. * Growth in the International division is mandatory. We are a world-wide registry. All of us benefit when other countries promote and accept CFA. |

* I breed Ocicats and have shown exclusively in CFA under the cattery name DotDotDot. * I am currently an active member of four CFA clubs, presently serving as President of one club. *I have been a CFA Director At Large during the past two years serving as Scientific Advisor...my background as a practicing Small Animal Veterinarian allows me to help CFA with medical expertise. Welfare of cats is the very foundation on which CFA stands. Veterinary input is frequently required at the Board level. The majority of our decisions revolve around feline welfare. It has been my privilege to serve on the CFA Board of Directors for the past two years. I have many innovative projects yet to be completed that will provide additional services to CFA members that will increase the "quality of life" for their cats. .
